RAGEher
Kristina (Krissie) McMenamin is the founder of RAGEher, an immersive group experience that offers women, femmes and non-binary people a space to explore and express anger through movement, sound and shared activities.
She launched RAGEher in 2024, developing an event format that combines physical activities such as dancing, shouting and movement with guided reflection and group discussion.
The events are structured around several themed spaces, including the Tempest Tavern, Fury Floor and Livid Lounge. Participants can move between activities and take part at their own pace. The format also includes Rage Doulas, a team of practitioners with backgrounds in coaching, therapy, somatic practices and facilitation. McMenamin co-founded the Rage Doulas programme, which supports participants during events.
RAGEher began in Chicago and has since expanded to other US cities, including San Diego, as well as international pop-ups in London and Porto. Its programme also includes follow-up sessions and opportunities for participants to become more involved in the organisation, including through its doula and production teams.
McMenamin continues to lead the development of RAGEher and its events, working with practitioners and production teams to deliver the programme in different locations.
