Morgan's Wonderland names new park president

Morgan’s Wonderland, the Ultra-Accessible theme park in San Antonio, Texas, has announced the appointment of Catherine Lorenzo as park president.

A veteran of SeaWorld San Antonio and the San Antonio Zoo, Lorenzo has more than 30 years' experience in the attractions industry.


Per a press release, she brings to the park president role a wealth of operational expertise, strategic insight, and guest-focused leadership.

"Her dedication to operational excellence and her passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences position her to lead the park into an exciting future."

Lorenzo started her career at SeaWorld San Antonio, holding positions in park operations, culinary and merchandise.

She later served as vice president of revenue at the San Antonio Zoo, and as general manager of SSA Group, a best-in-class provider of integrated guest services.

Lorenzo joined Morgan's Wonderland in February 2025 as director of operations, and was promoted to interim park president in August 2025.

“Morgan’s Wonderland is a place where inclusion comes to life, and I’m committed to carrying that mission forward," Lorenzo said.

"As we look ahead, we’re focused on strengthening partnerships, improving operational efficiency, and making thoughtful enhancements that support a sustainable future for our mission."

Lorenzo has started in her role at Morgan's Wonderland, and will launch the park's 2026 season on 28 February.

Last summer, Morgan's Wonderland broke ground on its new ultra-accommodating hotel, which is located close to the park in San Antonio.
