Cybelle Jones is CEO of SEGD – A multidisciplinary community creating experiences that connect people to place. SEGD is a non-profit member organization focusing on education, innovation and connection around advancing the human experience by designing more equitable, sustainable and user-centric environments.
Previously, Cybelle was Principal and Executive Director of Gallagher & Associates, an award- winning global experience design firm where for 25 years she led the design of experience projects, including; the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the International Spy Museum, the National WWII Museum, and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum as well as branded experiences for Coca Cola, Google and Cox.
She has received multiple honors including the American Institute of Architects Award of Excellence, the STAR Award for her contributions to the Graduate Exhibition Design Program at SUNY/FIT and the SEGD Distinguished Member Award. Ms. Jones has been a speaker for AIA, AAM, Building Museums, MAAM, MuseumNext, FIT, Chengdu China Design Week, the Victoria & Albert Museum, ISA, AVIXA and IAAPA.
Cybelle Jones studied architecture at the University of Cincinnati and helped establish the Masters of Exhibition Design program at Corcoran College of Art + Design, now under George Washington University in Washington DC.
