Cybelle Jones is, at her core, a connector — someone who spots possibility before it's obvious. As CEO of SEGD, a multidisciplinary design community creating experiences that connect people to place, she channels that instinct into convening creative leaders and advancing design as a force for improving the human condition. SEGD is a non-profit member organisation focusing on education, innovation and connection around designing more equitable, sustainable, and user-centric environments.
Previously, Cybelle was Principal and Executive Director of G&A, an award-winning global experience design firm where for 25+ years she led projects once considered improbable —from the International Spy Museum and the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, to theNational Center for Civil and Human Rights, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, MississippiArts and Entertainment Experience and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum, as well as branded experiences for Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Google and Cox.
She has received multiple honors including the AIA Award of Excellence, the STAR Award for her contributions to the Graduate Exhibition Design Program at SUNY/FIT, and the SEGD Distinguished Member Award. In 2026, Cybelle was named to the Eames Curious 100 and served as a juror for the new International Reuse Symbol and was invited as a return Blooloop50 Museum Influencer juror.
