DOF Robotics, a producer of dynamic simulation platforms, has provided further details of its state-of-the-art Digital Park experience, which has been installed at its first location.
Delivering an immersive 30-40 mins space experience for visitors, Mission Space comprises 8 unique areas throughout a story which sees visitors become astronauts and complete their first space mission by combining entertainment and education. The first Mission Space experience is now open to guests at Camlica Tower in Istanbul, Turkey.
Each 6-person team begins by putting on astronaut outfits over their clothes in the welcome and preparation area. Themed according to the situation, the preshow area provides essential information about the adventure using specially designed holograms and screens.
After boarding a rocket simulator, visitors will experience a rocket launch recreation into space, with realistic animations used to create an immersive experience complemented by impressively implemented G-forces.
Universal interaction
Once docked in the “International Space Station“, guests leave the rocket for a journey to the Moon on a spaceship simulator known as the Interplanetary Voyager. They will then engage in the first interactive game of the mission, “Shooter”, where the astronauts will have to blast asteroids of different sizes to avoid potential disaster.
Guests arriving at the Moon’s space base on the Moon will then receive further information and are required to play the role of scientific researchers. Passengers who will have made discoveries during their journey to the moon will embark on the Planet Explorer simulator, a huge moon vehicle which features a second interactive game known as “Miner”.
Certified space explorers
Passengers will then collect their valuable resources and bring them to the space base for further examination. They will be immersed in the space environment by a moving platform. Having completed the mission, the team will make a fast return to Earth with a final spaceship. Completing the experience, each astronaut will receive a photographic ID card proving they are officially a “Real Astronaut”, as a perfect souvenir.
