Get a look at Dubai Expo 2020’s latest pavilions

Further pavilions for Dubai Expo 2020 have been revealed, including Italy and Morocco’s offerings, and Singapore’s net-zero energy pavilion designed by WOHA.

Other pavilions that have been teased for the 1083-acre site include those of Montenegro, the Philippines, and Turkmenistan.

Dubai 2020 Expo is themed ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ and will focus on ‘Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunity’.

The event will include hundreds of themed and interactive pavilions, as well as immersive cultural experiences and live entertainment.

Italy Pavilion

This offering, set under the overturned hulls of three ships, will feature spaces inspired by traditional Italian ‘piazze’, gardens, and landscapes.

The Italy Pavilion will focus on culture, art, sustainability, education, science, security and innovation. It will take visitors on a journey through history to the future.

Montenegro Pavilion

The Montenegro Pavilion will give guests a look at the country’s cultural heritage, as well as its national parks, water resources, ecosystems, and biodiversity.

Visitors can immerse themselves in Montenegro’s history, and enjoy its traditional hospitality, while learning about its sustainability-driven future.

Morocco Pavilion

Experience Morocco’s commitment to a sustainable future for the planet, and get one of the best views of the event from this pavilion.

The pavilion is designed as an earthen village and features a recreation of Moroccan medinas, offering visitors an immersive experience.

Philippines Pavilion

Featuring authentic Filipino architecture, art and design as well as a food experience at Mangrove Café, this pavilion is designed to resemble a coral reef.

The attraction boasts free-flowing, open spaces to reflect Filipino culture, and visitors will get to experience the island nation and its people.

Turkmenistan Pavilion

Highlights of the Turkmenistan structure include a fountain sculpture featuring Akhal-Teke horses, an interactive hologram, and authentic Turkmen souvenirs.

Visitors will learn about Turkmenistan’s heritage, development priorities and progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.

Singapore Pavilion

This net-zero energy pavilion is designed by WOHA and includes an immersive 3D greenery experience called ‘City in a Garden’, and a net-zero energy rainforest powered by a self-sustaining ecosystem.

Singapore Pavilion will also have a canopy walk, a series of sculptural ‘Garden Cones’ featuring exhibits, and a ‘Sky Market’.
