Las Vegas is getting a new immersive art experience on 10 June called Perception, featuring digital art installations such as Leonardo: The Universal Man.
Perception Las Vegas is a state-of-the-art digital art museum located on the Las Vegas Strip. The attraction will immerse visitors in the lives and works of the world’s most celebrated artists.
“Our concept celebrates one of history’s most remarkable visionaries by putting his work into a completely captivating visual and audio experience unlike anything that exists,” said Robert Frey, CEO of Perception.
“This is a 360-degree, fully immersive, multi-sensory exhibit and experiential film that celebrates da Vinci in a way you’ve never seen before and won’t see anywhere else.”
Leonardo: The Universal Man chronicles the life and work of da Vinci through three 360-degree exhibits, including what Perception describes as ‘the most advanced light and sound show ever created’.
Digital art installations

Grand Salon: Chapters of the Genius’ Life – Guests will enter a four-wall theatre where they find themselves in the Italian Renaissance. Visitors will learn about da Vinci’s life, experience his flying machine, and float through Tuscany.
The Gallery: Mona Lisa’s Perception – In this gallery, guests meet Lisa del Giocondo, better known as Mona Lisa. She tells the story of her impact on the world for more than 500 years.
Painting with Light: The Last Supper – In a gallery with floor-to-ceiling, surround-sound LED walls, da Vinci’s The Last Supper is brought to life through “an explosion of light, color, shape and sound”, according to a release.
Las Vegas is already home to AREA15, which includes immersive art experiences such as Meow Wolf‘s Omega Mart.
Meow Wolf is also heading to Texas, with two new permanent installations opening in a shopping mall in Grapevine and the Fifth Ward of Houston in 2023 and 2024.
