Universal Orlando has officially debuted its new 'Universal Celestial Goodnight' nighttime spectacular at Epic Universe, featuring a new fireworks display.

Running nightly at park closing, 'Universal Celestial Goodnight' transforms Celestial Park with nearly 600 synchronised light fixtures, more than 350 fountains, seven million LED lights and a high-energy musical score.

The nightly event draws inspiration from Epic Universe’s immersive lands, bringing together adventures from Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and Dark Universe.

The experience culminates in Epic Universe’s first nightly fireworks display, providing a spectacular finale to a day at the park.

First opening to the public on 22 May 2025, Epic Universe, the fourth theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, features five themed lands and offers more than 50 attractions, entertainment experiences, and dining and retail locations.

Also this year, 'Universal Nights' at Epic Universe will debut on 3 and 17 October, offering guests exclusive after-hours access to the park.

The limited-capacity events will feature attractions, entertainment, character encounters, and complimentary speciality snacks and beverages.

'Universal Nights' will run from 9pm to midnight on event dates, with guests able to enter from 7pm to enjoy the park’s attractions and entertainment, including 'Universal Celestial Goodnight'.

In other news, Universal recently announced the official name of its planned UK theme park, alongside a £1.3 billion government investment package to support its development.

The resort is expected to open in 2031 and could generate nearly £50 billion in economic benefits for the UK by 2055.

Located in Bedfordshire, around 45 minutes from London, Universal United Kingdom Resort is expected to create thousands of jobs and welcome millions of visitors.

Developed by Universal Destinations & Experiences, the resort will feature a theme park with immersive lands and attractions, alongside a 500-room hotel and a retail, dining and entertainment complex.
