Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park, has announced three new attractions for 2027.
The park will revamp its Piccolo Mondo gondola ride, with the colourful parrot character Enzo taking centre stage.
The attraction, renamed Enzo’s Piccolo Mondo, will reopen in 2027, with Enzo guiding visitors on a journey through Italy.
Europa-Park said the redesigned ride will feature art, classical theatre and Italian music. The park described the attraction as “lovingly redesigned” and “full of Italian flair that will enchant young and old alike”.

Another new addition for 2027 is Wild Swing XL, which will be located in Europa-Park’s Portuguese-themed area.
Standing more than 14 metres tall, the attraction will sit in the middle of the Portuguese lake and offer a mix of thrills and family entertainment.
Inspired by the Portuguese coast, the ride will feature a story centred on invention, according to the park.
The park's Icelandic-themed area is also set to get a new tower attraction that will allow visitors to rise above the harbour.
Guests will be able to operate the ride themselves and enjoy panoramic views across the themed area.

The attraction will feature mischievous seagulls and puffins as part of its harbour setting, according to Europa-Park.
Operated by the Mack family, Europa-Park is Europe’s busiest non-Disney theme park, with rides and attractions spread across themed areas representing 18 European countries.
In 2019, Europa-Park opened its €180 million Scandinavian-themed water park, Rulantica, expanding it with Svalgurok in 2021.
Other additions include the rebuilt Pirates of Batavia dark ride in 2020, the immersive dining experience Eatrenalin in 2022, the 3D ride Grand Prix Edventure in 2025 and the launch coaster Voltron Nevera in 2024.
Meanwhile, Mack Group recently unveiled 'eatX', a dining and dark ride concept debuting at Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Germany in summer 2027.
