Creative Works hosts second successful virtual Amusement 360 Event

Creative Works, the theming company and attractions provider, has held its second virtual Amusement 360 Event of the year.

Creative Works is pleased to announce that it has once again held a successful virtual edition of its popular Amusement 360 Event. This took place from 6 – 8 October 2020 and saw more than 300 new and existing entertainment operators taking part.

The company made the decision to move to a virtual format in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and also made registration for the event free of charge.

Engaging content

“Once again, we were blown away by how many business owners registered and engaged with the content,” says Danny Gruening, the VP of Marketing at Creative Works. “I love seeing so many operators come together to find ways to help one another achieve their goals.”

On the first day of the event, attendees benefited from insights into some time-relevant topics to help improve their operations. For instance, how to create systems and processes to eliminate waste and how to maximize revenue with limited capacity. They also looked at the key factors lending institutions are focused on right now, how to lead staff in times of uncertainty, and more.

Following this, the second day of the event featured interviews from experts and operators within the industry.

Matt Heller and Josh Liebman (Attraction Pros) talked employee and guest feedback, while operators Jeremy Hoyum (Urban Air), Barry Zelickson (Big Thrill Factory), Craig Buster (Coconut Bowl at Wild Island), Jeff Gebhart (Craig’s Cruisers), and Chucky Blalock (TopJump, Crave Golf Club) covered a variety of topics related to running an entertainment business.

There was also a keynote that explored the ideas of determination, mindset and perspective, delivered by Jason Barnaby (Firestarters Inc) who talked about how to find inspiration and ignite the fire within. Furthermore, in honour of Creative Works late founder Jeff Schilling, the event featured a session that focused on legacy and how to make a lasting impact through gratitude.

Finally, the event was rounded off by a live Q&A session and an operator round table, where operators could address their business challenges on a more personal level.
