The team showcased business solutions and celebrated the success of its partners during the show

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, recently exhibited at IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam, where the team showcased a range of breakthrough innovations.

‘We’re excited to be back in Europe for the show! Now that our expansion plans for the European market are in motion – starting with bringing in a dedicated sales account manager – we look forward to more FECs joining the cashless and contactless revolution and experiencing the Embed difference,” says Renee Welsh, CEO at Embed.

“Being a family-owned company with deep roots in the family entertainment business, we want to see FECs not only make the move to cashless to increase their profitability but also to experience transformational growth – which includes lowering costs and getting the best rates possible.”

Free consultations for payment processing

Welsh moved from the company’s Singapore headquarters to Dubai, UAE, where Embed’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa activities are overseen. This is partly because of Embed’s strategic focus on the European market.

In addition to showcasing its dynamic Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions at the event, such as the highly regarded Mobile Wallet, which is certified by Apple and Google, and the STATS business intelligence dashboard, which is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Embed added value to the growth these solutions bring by offering free consultations for payment processing.

“We know for a fact that our operators can do better than paying fluctuating published rates for their credit card processing fees,” says Jeremy Dickamore, payment gateway guru at Embed. “By analysing their bank statements, we’re able to help them cut their losses and take advantage of the savings they can get from simply switching to another provider.

“We’ve had a great turnout and European market reception, with hundreds of consultations at the show and are expecting more, as the exercise is raising awareness in the industry that “thinking twice” about their current rates will keep them from losing 40% of their revenue to processing fees.

Similarly, Embed taught operators how to avoid dual pricing models, which charge the FECs more money even as they shift the expense of payment processing to the visitors: “By giving our Embed family of customers the most competitive processing rates, highest security measures, and highest reliability, our operators won’t need to get duped by dual pricing and lose more revenue and guests because of it,'” says Sara Paz, CMO and growth officer at Embed.

During the event, Embed also presented an award to Funstation UK CEO and owner James Miller to celebrate 20 years in the industry. The firm has worked with Funstation UK for over a decade. In addition, the team celebrated another long-term partner, the Veltmeijer Group, a leading FEC chain in Europe, by hosting a dinner, where they were joined by CEO Roel Veltmeijer.

Two of Embed’s Top 100 FECs were also given Appreciation Rockets by the company during the show. These were FARO Games, which has been an Embed partner for 15 years, and Sportland Belgium, which has worked with the firm for 12 years.

Embed will also exhibit at IAAPA Expo in Orlando from 19 – 22 November.

The company also recently announced a series of new sales team appointments in the Americas and Europe.
