KidZania Kuala Lumpur has introduced three new professions for children, including grocery packing and delivery, sushi making, and wellness and self-care.
KidZania is an edutainment brand offering interactive cities for children. The Kuala Lumpur attraction’s new purpose partners are Pandamart, Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant, and Jac & Ivy.
“The learning never stops at KidZania Kuala Lumpur, and we are passionate about engaging new partners to create innovative activities for our young visitors,” said Philip Whittaker, CEO of Sim Leisure Group, a Malaysian-owned theme park and leisure company.

“With an array of job opportunities and activities awaiting exploration, children have the opportunity to learn, play, develop skills, and let their imagination soar.
“These new purpose partners bring something unique to KidZania, ensuring that young minds remain stimulated and engaged throughout their visit.”
In the new Pandamart experience, children gain an understanding of the logistics involved with ordering and delivering groceries. They can play as grocery packers, assembling orders according to a provided list before delivering the packed products.
They learn culinary skills and explore flavours in the Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant area, also taking part in a sushi-making class. In the Jac & Ivy zone, children learn about self-care and grooming.
New learning experiences
Sim Leisure Group recently announced plans to reopen KidZania Singapore in the first quarter of next year. The company will refurbish the 7,600-square-metre venue, adding new attractions and experiences.
Sim Leisure Group’s founder and chairman Sim Choo Kheng said the new Kidzania will be a “runaway success”. He added: “This time I will make sure KidZania Singapore is here to stay.”
Founded in 1997, KidZania has 27 attractions across the globe. It welcomes more than 10 million visitors annually in over 23 countries.
