Firm expects to continue expanding its team

Kraemer Design + Production, a leading designer of children’s museum exhibitions, science centres, theme parks and entertainment centres, is celebrating the appointment of Rachel Oedy as project designer.

Oedy joined the firm in June and is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP.

Creating connection & joy

Oedy has a background in the toy and consumer goods industry, with co-op experience at Proctor & Gamble, Hasbro and Mifactori in Berlin, Germany.

She has established a reputation for imaginative innovation, passion, and a positive attitude. In her designs she strives to support human connection and joy, thus championing positive change.

In addition, Oedy supports a local non-profit community theatre company, where she works as an Inspiring Arts Productions Design Volunteer.

Nick Young, design director, says: “Rachel Oedy is a fantastic addition to our team! Her organization, optimism, and applied empathy enhances both the office and her design projects. She takes to heart our clients’ needs and delivers exceptional work.”

As Kraemer Design + Production is growing it expects to continue to expand its team, and welcome fresh ideas and perspectives.

In June, Kraemer Design + Production announced that it had joined forces once more with The Children’s Museum of the Upstate (TCMU), South Carolina. The firm undertook all the exhibit signage in the refurbishment of Bib’s World accessible outdoor playground. The firm had previously worked on the attraction in 2016 when it created the concept, design development and graphic design.

The firm recently took part in PlayCore’s Day of Caring which takes place twice a year. The first event for 2023 saw brands across the PlayCore family donate their time to support their local communities.

Kraemer Design + Production regularly donates its employees’ time, and for this event chose to work with St. Vincent DePaul in downtown Cincinnati at the Becky and Ted Catino Food Pantry.
