Rainbow Productions, a leading character events company and mascot manufacturer, has announced it will return to IAPPA Expo Europe this year.
As destinations and amusement parks return to normality following the pandemic, attraction operators are seeking new ways to encourage the return of visitors, with character appearances being a popular option that appeals to families with children. Rainbow will engage with prospective future host venues at the upcoming international trade show in the capital.
Head of UK sales for Rainbow, Chris Stanton, says: “Character events help attractions to increase footfall and expand overall capacity, it is also a great crowd management solution. Besides regular meet and greets, Rainbow also introduce new mini-shows and activations on a regular basis to help clients to engage a greater customer experience.”
Characters from around the world
Rainbow Productions provides characters from some of the most popular TV shows and movies for young children. Its entertainment services include a Pup Pup Boogie activation from PAW Patrol, Hey Duggee’s Stick Song, and activations for Bluey – which the firm reports as being current favourites with children and have helped clients to achieve record-breaking visitor numbers.
Through its mission of spreading joy to children and families, Rainbow Productions is now the exclusive agent for several top family IPs. With over 140 licenced characters being managed by the firm, the company’s roster includes Minions, Paddington Bear, Peppa Pig, Paddington, Bluey (and sister Bingo), alongside JJ from the CoComelon series.
Amongst its prestigious international client base, Rainbow is also an exclusive mascot supplier to major sporting events such as the Olympics, FIFA and the opening and closing ceremonies for the Commonwealth Games. Rainbow Productions also contributed to major UK events such as London’s Oxford Street Christmas Light Switch on and Glastonbury Festival, alongside product launches for household brand names.
Rainbow Productions will be at IAAPA Expo Europe on Stand #1501, taking place at ExCeL London between 13-15 September.
Earlier this summer, Rainbow Productions raised money for a London-based hospice charity, with managing director Simon Foulkes undertaking a unique company fundraising challenge.
