Gamers can shoot and score with friends with the updated sports experience

Sega Amusements International, a leading provider of innovative and immersive amusements, has revealed its latest sporting cabinet to hit the market.

Allstars Basketball features a giant 65” vertical screen, enabling brand-new dynamic interaction and entertaining animations. The screen allows for a distinctive take on the classic arcade game, encouraging friends and families to gather around for competitive fun.

In single-player mode, customers must attain a minimum score in order to progress through the game’s four levels. Catering for all age groups and skill levels, the entertaining gameplay offers three difficulty options.

Players’ performances are evaluated by a built-in screen, providing professional statistical analysis to coach players on improving their hoop shooting skills and encouraging them towards repeat plays.

“Operators are impressed”

For multiplayer mode, Allstars Basketball presents a fun and socially competitive gaming environment.

With a “best of three”, players can compete in six engaging game challenges head-to-head. Competitive play is further encouraged through the ability of Allstars Basketball to be linked through up to sixteen cabinets.

The company invites venues to elevate their basketball offering saying: “Allstars Basketball looks stunning with its bold sporting colours, slick edge lighting, and see-through side windows, that’s sure to impress guests at your location.

“Operators are impressed by how well Allstars Basketball is performing and are adding more units to their locations.”

Attendees to this month’s Bowl Expo in the US will be able to try out the new Allstars Basketball machine at Booth #129. The event will take place from 29- 30 June at the Las Vegas Convention Center, USA.

Sega has also recently introduced Pushing Points, a new prize merchandiser suitable for a range of gaming and leisure environments. With an eye-catching contemporary cabinet design and colour changing lighting, Pushing Points is ideal for many different types of venues, from FECs and arcades to service stations, bowling centres and more.
