SimEx-Iwerks Legend Heroes Park 4D cinema

SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, a specialist in immersive cinematic attractions, has announced a new 4D motion theatre for Legend Heroes Park in Studio City, Macao.

SimEx-Iwerks is proud to announce the addition of an innovative 4D motion theatre experience to Legend Heroes Park in Studio City, Macao. Visitors to the popular tech-based indoor theme park can already enjoy a range of VR, hologram, projection mapping and motion-packed games. Now, Legend Heroes Park has added a cutting-edge cinematic experience.

The new 4D motion cinema will provide a fun experience for all ages, and launches with two of the most well-loved brands in 4D shows: Ice Age: No Time for Nuts and The Lego Movie 4D Experience.

Immersive cinema experience

SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment designed the new 38-seat 4D attraction, which includes special effects in sync with the action as it unfolds on screen. The park will be the first location to benefit from the company’s innovative 2-seat electric motion platform.

In the newly designed seats, guests will feel immersed in the story with 3 degrees of freedom and smooth, seamless motion. The design is electric, meaning that the technology is quiet and does not intrude on the movie experience. The 4D Theater can be found on the second floor of Legends Heroes Park and will show movies every 15 minutes.

“We are very excited to bring this new attraction to our guests!  The new motion seats combined with in-theatre special effects and incredible branded content provides an experience that our guests have come to expect at Legend Heroes Park,” says Daniel Ra, CEO. “We look forward to the launch in September and many years of success with this new attraction.”

SimEx-Iwerks recently announced the launch of its latest 4D experience, Mowgli’s 4D Jungle Adventure. The movie, a modern interpretation of Rudyard Kipling‘s classic tale, is set for release in Spring 2020.
