The announcement follows the manufacturer’s attendance at IAAPA Expo last month.

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has been selected to provide its award-winning products for a new FEC site in Florida, US.

The interactive attraction specialist announced the acquisition by PrimeTime Amusements of two of its attractions shown at IAAPA Expo 2022 in Orlando, for the new Elev8Fun location launching in March 2023.

PrimeTime Amusements, an international operator, supplier, and event renter of video arcade games and simulators, has chosen Triotech’s attractions for its new FEC concept launching in Tampa’s Citrus Park Mall. The XD Dark Ride interactive theatre and the coin-op interactive VR simulator STORM from Triotech will be housed in the 125,000-square-foot location.

“We wanted anchor attractions for our new FEC in Tampa,” says PrimeTime Amusements CEO and founder David Goldfarb. “Of course, we thought of Triotech for the reliability and earnings track record of their media-based simulators – the XD Dark Ride and the VR Storm offer solid value and are highly appreciated by our visitors.”

Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale, which is PrimeTime Amusements’ first FEC, already has an XD Dark Ride interactive cinema. Its success and high revenue encouraged PrimeTime to increase the capacity at Xtreme Action Park from 8 to 16 players.

Triotech’s VP of sales & marketing, Yannick Gemme, adds: “It is always rewarding to see clients coming back to install our products in their new locations while expanding. We saw a real market resurgence during IAAPA Expo in Orlando, and 2023 should be a very promising and successful year.”

Both Triotech attractions have proven to be popular, and the friendly competition fostered by the interaction and scoring system ensures that operators earn impressive revenues. Furthermore, the XD Dark Ride and Storm, like all Triotech products, come with an ongoing library of material, which draws guests back again and again as they desire to sample different rides.

Triotech recently announced it has been selected to work on a new walkthrough experience at LOTTE WORLD, based on the popular PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS franchise.
