Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has announced that its client, AR’s Entertainment Hub, has selected ValoArena, the first unattended 6-player mixed-reality playground on the planet, for all of its family entertainment centres (FECs) in Texas, US.
AR’s Entertainment Hub deployed its first ValoArena in San Antonio, Texas, in May 2023 following initial play numbers and performance which exceeded expectations. Its second ValoArena opened in Baytown, Texas, in January 2024. The most recent ValoArena installation took place in March 2024 at AR’s Entertainment Hub in La Marque, Texas.
Core attraction
The focus of AR’s Entertainment Hub is “Family Fun for Everyone,” and its attractions offer an entertainment mix that is intended to appeal to a broad audience. ValoArena is now a core attraction, replacing bumper cars. It joins laser tag, minigolf, roller skating, and soft play playgrounds in the brand’s core offer.

Last month, Valo Motion announced a new partnership with Creative Works, a leading manufacturer of LBE attractions. The two companies will now collaborate to introduce ValoArena, the first unattended 6-player mixed reality attraction in the world, to the North American market. Under this partnership, Creative Works becomes an authorized distributor in North America for Valo Motion’s ValoArena.
