ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, is celebrating the success of IAAPA Expo 2025, which marked the momentum driving ProSlide and its partners into next year.

The company enjoyed a dynamic, future-focused week with substantial traffic at the booth, meaningful client connections, and the debut of its newest family attraction, PowerRAPIDS.

Special events

The company began the Expo with two events: an EDUTour titled Sea the Innovation: Inside Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, where attendees explored the newest Icon Class Ship, and Water Park Day, with inspiring sessions at Island's H2O and a backstage tour of Universal's Volcano Bay.

The creative, collaborative tone from these events continued to the show floor, where the ProSlide booth became a meeting point for operators, developers, partners, and others.

Delegates visited repeatedly throughout the week, often bringing colleagues and partners to continue discussions, ask questions about water ride models, and share upcoming park developments.

"It was especially encouraging to see how naturally people settled into the space, a high-energy environment designed to invite connection, spark honest dialogue, and reinforce a sentiment we graciously heard throughout the show: 'ProSlide is always there for us,'" says a spokesperson from the company.

Introducing PowerRAPIDS

A key moment for ProSlide and its partners at the Expo was the debut of PowerRAPIDS, the company's latest high-energy family rafting attraction.

Deleagtes responded positively to its combination of dynamic water movement and shifting currents, immersive, story-driven pacing, boulder shaping and natural river motion, multi-generational ride appeal, and operational efficiency.

Many operators shared their excitement that there is finally an all-ages, high-energy water ride that the whole family can enjoy together.

"Throughout the show, visitors returned to the booth to rewatch the announcement video, study the PowerRAPIDS model, ask technical questions, and explore how the attraction might fit into their own development plans," says ProSlide.

"The launch confirmed a clear market demand: shared family attractions that feel alive, combining narrative, motion, and connection in a way operators have been waiting for, but have not experienced until now."

Renewed momentum

ProSlide met with operators and collaborators spanning every major region, hearing feedback and gaining firsthand insights to support future projects and ride design.

Additionally, these conversations strengthened ProSlide’s approach to water ride development, focusing on family-centred design, high-performance engineering, and long-term partnerships.

Operators highlighted the growing significance of shared family experiences. This theme is reflected in the strong response to PowerRAPIDS.

There was also interest in narrative-driven water attractions, with many conversations on pacing, blending visuals with excitement, and harnessing the power of water and its movement.

Many delegates discussed development plans centred on safety, reliability, and high-performance standards, which align closely with ProSlide’s key aim of creating attractions that provide meaningful visitor connection and sustained operational value.

IAAPA Expo 2025 underscored the strength and creativity of the international water park community.

With a number of key projects in progress and the world's first PowerRAPIDS installation set to debut in February 2026 at Aquatopia Water Park in Vietnam, ProSlide approaches 2026 with a renewed sense of momentum and a clear vision for the future of water park entertainment.

Recently, ProSlide reflected on the success of the World Waterpark Association (WWA) Show 2025, in Orlando.
