Rise AV is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing gender diversity and creating greater opportunities for women across the audiovisual industry. Established as a sister organisation to Rise Women in Broadcast, it brings together professionals, employers and industry partners to help build a more inclusive, representative and sustainable AV sector through mentoring, education, networking and leadership development.
Supporting women at every stage of their careers, Rise AV develops programmes that encourage professional growth, strengthen industry connections and inspire the next generation of AV talent. By investing in individuals and promoting best practice across the sector, the organisation is helping to address skills shortages while creating a stronger, more diverse audiovisual community.
Mentoring Programme
Rise AV's Mentoring Programme connects women working in the audiovisual industry with experienced professionals who provide guidance, practical advice and career support. The programme is designed to build confidence, develop professional skills and help participants navigate the next stage of their careers through one-to-one mentoring relationships.
Elevate Programme
The Elevate Programme is a leadership development initiative created to prepare women for senior roles within the AV industry. Through workshops, coaching and peer collaboration, participants develop leadership skills, expand their professional networks and gain the confidence to progress into management and executive positions.
Rise AV Academy
The Rise AV Academy aims to inspire the next generation of audiovisual professionals by introducing young people to career opportunities within the industry. By promoting awareness of AV careers and supporting future talent, the Academy helps strengthen the industry's long-term skills pipeline.
Rise AV Awards
The Rise AV Awards celebrate individuals, advocates and organisations that are making a positive impact on diversity, inclusion and professional development within the audiovisual sector. The awards recognise achievement while encouraging greater representation and inspiring positive change across the industry.
