Rovio Entertainment Corporation, a Finnish mobile-first gaming company and creator of the Angry Birds brand, is collaborating with Toca Social, the world’s first interactive football and dining experience, to bring a unique Angry Birds game to its UK venues this Easter.
The new title offers footballing fun for a diverse range of visitors, from enthusiastic players eager to test their skills to families, couples, and groups seeking some light-hearted competition.

Since its launch in 2009, Angry Birds has been downloaded over 5 billion times. Players worldwide enjoy its addictive gameplay and famous characters.
From 30 March, fans can enter the beloved colourful world as it combines with Toca Social's sports experience.
Katri Chacona, head of brand licensing at Rovio Entertainment, says: "Football and Angry Birds both have a way of bringing people together for a laugh – and to challenge each other to see who’s got what it takes to win.
"Partnering with Toca Social gives us the opportunity to bring the familiar and fun Angry Birds experience to a wide range of audiences in a physical setting, encouraging people to move, polish their aim with kicks and spend quality time together.
"We’re excited to see people let off some restless energy, connect with each other and pop those pesky piggies!"

Football fun for all ages and abilities
In the new release, the action is triggered when visitors use their feet as a slingshot to kick balls at an interactive screen. Birds are fired across the level to detonate TNT, knock down structures and hit Bad Piggies to score points.
Players can select from difficulty modes, including beginner, intermediate and advanced, so offering something for all ages and skill levels to enjoy this Easter.
Alex Harman, president at Toca Social, says: "Angry Birds is one of the most recognisable and loved gaming brands in the world, making it the ideal fit for our first game using third-party IP.
"Partnering with Rovio Entertainment has allowed us to bring the iconic game to life at our venues as a fully immersive experience, and the launch is perfectly timed ahead of the Easter holidays, when everyone is looking for something fun to enjoy together.
"We can’t wait to see people give it a go.”

Angry Birds is the first of numerous new games launching at Toca Social this year. It will be available at all UK venues: The O2 in London, Bullring in Birmingham, and its newest and biggest location at Westfield White City in London.
Toca Social's distinctive blend of immersive entertainment bays, a world-class food and drink selection, and big screens offers an exciting destination for football fans to live and breathe the beautiful game.
Last year, Rovio Entertainment attended IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona and IAAPA Expo Orlando, inviting potential partners to explore new licensing opportunities as it continues to build its presence in the location-based entertainment (LBE) space.
