Six Flags Fiesta Texas has announced plans to open Werewolf Gorge, the world's longest family launch coaster, in 2027.
The record-breaking roller coaster will combine a unique mix of ride elements not found together on a single attraction, including four launches, a mid-course rollback and a 39-inch heigh requirement.
An industry first, Werewolf Gorge stretches 4,120 feet and boasts speeds of up to 45 mph. It also features the highest number of floater airtime elements ever incorporated into a family coaster.
Manufactured by Vekoma Rides, the Dutch roller coaster specialist, the coaster also offers a 40-foot drop and 85-foot elevation change, immersive scenic elements, and a climactic finale through a crumbling quarry structure.
"This is a defining addition to Six Flags Fiesta Texas," said Robert Bustle, park manager at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

"Werewolf Gorge brings together storytelling, innovation and a bold combination of ride elements that truly sets it apart. It delivers an experience that is approachable for families, yet unmatched anywhere in the world."
Per a press release, Werewolf Gorge puts guests in the middle of a mysterious Texas quarry steeped in legend and inspired by the park's real quarry setting.
The ride experience begins as a guided tour aboard a rugged mining train, but quickly becomes a high-speed escape through twisting terrain.
Werewolf Gorge introduces a new story centred around Jasper Bunyan, an eccentric entrepreneur who transformed a forgotten quarry into a roadside attraction filled with cryptid lore and interactive exhibits.
During the queue experience, guests will see themed spaces including the Museum of Cryptids and the Werewolf Museum.
Werewolf Gorge will debut at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2027 as part of the park's 35th anniversary season.
