Choni Fernandez Veciana from PortAventura is speaking at greenloop 2023.
Blooloop is hosting the third greenloop sustainability in visitor attractions conference from 25 to 26 April, online. This unique cross-sector event brings together leading sustainability professionals from the world’s major museums, theme parks, zoos and other visitor attractions. They will share strategy insights and lessons learned to inspire us all to become more sustainable in our businesses and help protect the planet.

Choni Fernandez Veciana is Director: Sustainability, Customer Experience and Communication at PortAventura, the world’s first carbon-neutral theme park.
The department she leads encompasses the areas of Corporate Responsibility, Customer Experience and Communication. She joined the company in 2007, after having previously developed her career for 12 years at the multinational BASF, where she held different positions related to logistics and supply chain.
Fernandez holds a Diploma in Business Sciences and a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Oviedo. She was also recognized with the “Women leadership award” in the 2018 edition of the “Procurement Diamond” given by the Spanish Association of Procurement, Contracting and Procurement Professionals (AERCE). She is part of the Board of the Association of Directors AED in Tarragona and Vice-president of DIRSE in Catalonia.
As a trailblazer in sustainability in theme parks, Choni will be updating us on PortAventura’s latest strategies and projects. Last year she talked about how the theme park is going beyond carbon neutral with Science Based Targets to get to Net Zero. Join us to learn from an industry leader!

Standard tickets are £75 each at the early bird rate. Our £175 early bird group ticket for visitor attraction operators and institutions allows up to 10 attendees for each group ticket for only £17.50 for each attendee at the super early bird rate.
Recordings of the live event will be available afterwards for ticket holders for a limited time.
