Blooloop is hosting the third greenloop sustainability in visitor attractions conference from 25 to 26 April, online. This unique cross-sector event brings together leading sustainability professionals from the world’s major museums, theme parks, zoos and other visitor attractions. They will share strategy insights and lessons learned to inspire us all to become more sustainable in our businesses and help protect the planet.
Speakers announced to date include WAZA, Disney, Merlin, the Science Museum of Minnesota, Ecomusée Tata Somba, Efteling, PortAventura, Museums Galleries Scotland, Two Oceans Aquarium, Just Stop Oil and more.

Sim Choo Kheng is the founder and Executive Chairman of Sim Leisure Group Ltd, a well-established developer and operator of attractions listed on the Singapore Exchange. He is responsible for spearheading the company’s strategic and creative direction and the expansion of Sim Leisure brands, including the design and development of new projects locally and internationally. Having devoted over 33 years of his life to the leisure industry, Sim and his team have successfully delivered more than 300 themed attraction projects around the world.
His innovative thinking has resulted in the creation of ESCAPE, a new attraction genre of retro-eco adventure. He has also created two Guinness World Record rides: the world’s longest tube water slide at 1,111m and the world’s longest Zip Coaster at 1,135m which he designed and built himself.
Sim is passionate about trees and nature, and conservation plays a major role in the low impact development of ESCAPE parks. Trees are preserved and more planted to provide natural shade and reduce cooling needs. Low-tech, “high fun”, often self-powered play further minimizes energy use. The company’s 2021 Sustainability Report says that Sim Leisure looks to:

Standard tickets are £75 each at the early bird rate. Our £175 early bird group ticket for visitor attraction operators and institutions allows up to 10 attendees for each group ticket for only £17.50 for each attendee at the super early bird rate.
Recordings of the live event will be available afterwards for ticket holders for a limited time.
