7thSense Matt Barton and Emma Newell Sussex Chamber Business Award

The company is also shortlisted for a national accolade

7thSense, the multi-award-winning media solutions specialist, has been presented with a major regional business award in a celebration of entrepreneurial and commercial success earlier this month.

The firm which provides creative pixel generation, pixel processing and show control technologies for themed entertainment, visitor attraction and live experience venues, was named The Global Player of the Year at the Sussex Chamber Business Awards.

The Global Player category winner is defined by the Sussex Chamber of Commerce as “a business that has demonstrated significant and sustained international growth through a clear understanding of overseas markets, proving that borders are not a barrier to trade.”

7thSense is a privately-owned creative software and technology company based in Upper Beeding, Sussex, with offices in London, Royal Oak (Michigan, US), Orlando (Florida, US) and Burbank (California, US)and Melbourne (Australia).

Founded in 2004, 7thSense provides a toolkit of advanced products that enable storytellers worldwide to fulfil their vision and operators to deliver state-of-the-art experiences. The firm says its dedication to performance and innovation allows them to consistently push the limits of storytelling.

7thSense CEO Matt Barton collected the award on behalf of the company, in attendance with new board director Emma Newell. Barton said: “There has been a lot happening behind the scenes over the last few years as we continue to grow our business and expand our product range. We are honoured to have had the hard work and commitment of our team recognised with such an accolade.”

Other categories included The Planet Saver (Green Business of the Year), The Equality Trailblazer (Diversity and Inclusion) and The Problem Solver (Business Diversification).

7thSense will go on to compete at a national level against other regional category winners at the esteemed British Chamber of Commerce Awards for 2022, where national winners will be announced from mid-October.

The British technology firm recently celebrated its latest awards and products at IAAPA Expo 2022, hosted for the first time in over a decade in London, UK.
