The free product viewer app allows users to preview a range of Barco solutions directly from their mobile device

Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualization solutions, has teamed up with Belgian-based digital product studio In The Pocket to develop a new AR mobile app featuring realistic 360° renderings of its products. The free Barco AR product viewer app allows users to preview a range of Barco solutions directly from their iOS or Android device.

This new AR app lets Barco customers examine the products in detail, from the comfort of home or on the go, with the option to zoom in on specifics such as input/output slots and navigation panels. By clicking on featured areas, they will also be able to view extra technical information and product highlights.

Users can also click straight through to the product page on the company’s website from the app, where they are able to request a real demo unit. Barco AR provides a quick and easy introduction to Barco’s products, giving customers the detailed information they need at their fingertips, and also allowing them to share this easily with colleagues and decision-makers in their company.

The Barco AR app is available on iOS and Android and can be downloaded here. Currently, users can use it to explore three products: PDS-4K, UDX and G100, with more signature products to come.

Earlier this week, Barco also announced the latest products in its OverView range of LCD video walls: the OverView LVD-5521C and OverView KVD-5521C. These new LCD video walls continue the evolution of its OverView range, complemented by the UniSee platform.

The video walls can now be monitored and controlled remotely and support 4K streaming content. They can be used in many different venues, from control rooms and broadcast studios to experience centres, museums, corporate lobbies and boardrooms. the OverView LVD-5521C and OverView KVD-5521C will be shipping from July 2021.
