BeWunder, an expert in creating multisensory experiences using a range of media and technology, is celebrating the successful delivery of the specialist technology integration package for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.

As the appointed AVL exhibition fit-out partner, BeWunder played an essential role in creating one of the most ambitious and technically complex pavilions at the World Expo.

Under the leadership of senior project manager Daniel Charles, BeWunder was responsible for the full design development, procurement, logistics management, and on-site installation of all audiovisual and performance technology systems.

This encompassed immersive LED installations, custom audio environments, performance lighting, show control systems, and highly precise integration within architecturally sensitive exhibition and performance spaces.

A milestone project

This project represents a significant milestone for BeWunder, demonstrating the firm’s capacity to deliver high-profile, multi-disciplinary projects on an international platform. Working closely with creative and technical partners such as Foster + Partners and 59 Productions, the team managed a complex stakeholder environment and a rapid timetable, ensuring both design intent and technical performance were maintained.

Spanning over 7,000 sqm and expected to attract millions during the six-month Expo, the KSA Pavilion is a leading showcase of cultural and technological stories.

BeWunder’s contribution facilitated the creation of immersive environments, real-time interactive experiences, and premium performance spaces, driven by integrated, state-of-the-art AVL systems.

The team was responsive, technically competent, and solution-oriented throughout a challenging and fast-paced project. Their support as an AVL integrator contributed greatly to the successful delivery of a complex pavilion under tight deadlines.”

Charles adds: “I’m incredibly proud to have been involved in such a landmark project and to work alongside our talented team at BeWunder, delivering this highly complex scope under intense pressure and tight timelines.
