CAVU Designwerks, the media-based attractions specialist, has shared its plans for IAAPA Expo 2023, which is taking place from 13 – 17 November, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The trade show floor opens on 14 November.

The firm will be attending the Expo, which is the biggest gathering of amusement sector professionals from around the world, following a productive and exciting year which has included products, partnerships and prototypes.

Developing cutting-edge attractions

Delegates will be able to find out more about CAVU Designwerks’ projects with both an educational session and one-to-one meetings available at the Expo.

On Tuesday, 14 November at 12.20 pm, representatives from CAVU Designwerks will take to the stage with a Sponsor Spotlight Session on the EDUTalk Stage S220DE. Here, the team will share a behind-the-scenes look at their projects.

The team will also be available for meetings throughout the Expo, and will be delighted to discuss their most recent products and explore how the firm can support delegates in developing cutting-edge attractions. Meetings can be booked by emailing info@cavudw.com.

A further highlight of the Expo is the annual IAAPA Celebrates at SeaWorld Orlando on Thursday 16 November. CAVU Designwerks is the platinum sponsor of this event.

Earlier this year, CAVU Designwerks, revealed two new vehicles in its partnership with KUKA. The new releases added to CAVU’s range of self-driving vehicles (SDVs) are based on KUKA’s1500 and 600 industrial platforms, which have been used to develop robust, safe entertainment systems.

These new releases build on the success of the first vehicle in the partnership and integrate with innovative technologies such as AI, real-time gaming and projection mapping. They are smaller than the original model and can be deployed in a variety of environments and experiences to provide an exciting motion profile.

CAVU Designwerks revealed the self-driving cars developed in collaboration with KUKA at the IAAPA Expo in 2022.
