DOF Robotics, a producer of dynamic simulation platforms, recently exhibited at the 25th IAAPI Amusement Expo in Mumbai, organised by the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI), an organisation dedicated to promoting and advocating for the amusement sector in India and beyond.
During the event, the association also held its annual IAAPI National Awards for Excellence celebration and DOF Robotics was recognised with the International Manufacturer Award 2024.
Innovative ride celebrated during event
In addition, the Hurricane 360 attraction developed by DOF Robotics and located at Funtura (Lulu) Kochi Mall’s Family Entertainment Center (FEC) in India, was honoured with The Most Innovative Ride award. This ride exemplifies the company’s innovative edge and its ability to engage with a wide range of visitors across the globe.
DOF Robotics is a worldwide company that has completed almost 500 projects in more than 80 countries with remarkable success.
Earlier this year, the firm announced the appointment of Burak Sar as its new chief commercial officer. Sar will lead the firm’s sales and marketing. Renowned for his work in the amusement sector, Sar offers extensive expertise from his time spent as a sales manager for a water slide manufacturer. In addition to strengthening DOF Robotics’ sales and marketing initiatives, his broad knowledge and proven track record will be crucial for the rollout of the business’ innovative revenue-sharing model and the growth of location-based activities.
Another recent hire is Nicolas Verhelst, who took on the role of animation and game development director in December 2023. Verhelst brings extensive experience in animation, game development, and innovative technology to this vital position in the R&D department.
DOF Robotics, together with Rovio Entertainment Corporation, also revealed details of a new Angry Birds game last year. The combination of the popular Angry Birds universe with cutting-edge technology from DOF Robotics guarantees a fun experience for gamers of all ages.
