Mobaro launches new client package at IAAPA Expo 2021

Mobaro Competency Overview Management

Competency Management feature integrates into existing software

Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, will showcase a new product feature at this week’s IAAPA Expo.

The technology firm’s core focus is its robust computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) for visitor attractions such as theme parks, water parks, zoos and FECs.

Over a number of years, Mobaro has worked to help destinations to optimise maintenance, operations and safety. Clients are located around the world, including SeaWorld, Hersheypark, Looping Group and PortAventura.

New upgrade

Mobaro has released a new Competency Management feature to its platform, helping enable managers responsible for supporting their employees to provide relevant training and competency programmes. The CMMS package will allow organisations to ensure staff have the required qualifications at all times, critical to running safe operations.

The system is built to cater for a roster of both permanent and seasonal staff, maintaining an overview of who has earned their certifications, who hasn’t and who is due for renewal or retraining.

Mobaro Competency Deviation

Competency Management provides the ability to create access levels depending on a given employee having certain training or certifications.

For instance, a rollercoaster operator would only be able to open the ride in Mobaro’s system if they have the required clearance for a set attraction. Another example could be a maintenance engineer – if they didn’t renew an important working at heights certificate, it will be logged in the inspection report.

Track and manage team member training

Earlier this year, Mobaro also released RideOps, a new companion app for ride operators. Combined with the Competency Management system, RideOps will only permit entry for operators with the required training.

David Bromilow, Mobaro’s global director of parks & attractions says “Having the ability to track and manage team member training and competency is essential for any park or visitor attraction no matter what size of operation you have. Not only would this be a legal obligation in most regions, but it is also a must for good practice.

“Mobaro enables you to put the right team member, at the right location, with the right tools and at the right time. With Competency Management, you are assured the team member has the correct training for the tasks to be carried out.”

Mobaro will demonstrate the new features at IAAPA Expo in Orlando this week. The tech firm’s team will be available at booth #3826 on the trade show floor, 16 – 19 November.

This summer Mobaro revealed it has partnered with Pacific Park on Santa Monica Pier, California, providing a new CMMS for the tourist hotspot.
