n-gage.io Lyons Holiday Parks

New mobile app has been deployed across all 20 of the holiday park group’s locations

n-gage.io, a specialist in creating attractions management software for the visitor attractions and hospitality industries, has revealed that it is working with Lyons Holiday Parks, a family-owned holiday park group with 20 locations across Wales and Cumbria.

Lyons was founded in 1924, and over a century has grown to be Wales’ biggest holiday park provider. It hosts more than 4,000 park owners and hundreds of thousands of holiday guests every year.

The group has won numerous British Tourism Awards, including Best Medium UK Parks and Lodges and Family Holidays 2024.

Its new mobile app upholds Lyons’ dedication to high-quality locations, accommodation, facilities and customer service. The group commissioned n-gage.io to deliver its latest guest mobile technology and software, including a host of interactive features, to elevate the owner and guest experience.

“Game changer for the industry”

The n-gage.io solution is in use across all 20 Lyons Holiday Parks locations and combines the SaaS platform’s customisable guest mobile app with its attraction management software. This provides the tools and insights needed for the team to enhance the owner and visitor experience and enrich engagement in real-time.

With the app, visitors and owners can interact with tailored content, book activities and view events. In addition, the app seamlessly updates content based on park location.

An interactive map for each site provides wayfinding and navigation, with detailed information and visit planning tools with automated reminders. Tickets for booked activities, voucher offers, and store owners digital membership cards can all be stored in the in-app digital wallet.

Lyons intends to use the app as a hub for owners and visitors, simplifying activity bookings and providing a more interactive, bespoke experience. The app will also provide visitors with updates on Lyon’s events and activities throughout the season, and enable the team to leverage data insights to improve engagement and bookings.

Joseph Lyons-Mound, Lyons Group director, says: “We’re delighted to launch our new Lyons Holiday Park App and offer both our owners and guests an enhanced digital experience.

“n-gage.io has developed a software platform and mobile app that’s helping the holiday park sector to transform their approach to guest engagement, and we believe it’s a game changer for the industry. The technology will certainly help us to enhance the Lyons Holiday Park experience and we’ve got further development plans in the pipeline.”

Bryan Hoare, CEO of n-gage.io, says: “The team is excited to be working with Lyons Group and introduce our app to their community.

“As a highly respected brand across the industry we’re delighted to help them enhance the holiday park experience of hundreds of thousands of families each year. We’re looking forward to supporting them further as we continue to help expand their digital activity.”

n-gage.io recently attended and sponsored the AZA Mid-Year Conference in Palm Springs, California, a much-anticipated event in the US calendar for zoos and aquariums.
