Raven Sun Creative to attend Casino Esport Conference

News
Raven Sun Creative CEC-2022

The company’s principal & chief creative officer will take part in a discussion on esports events and competitive esports wagering

Raven Sun Creative, the transformational experience firm, will be taking part in this week’s Casino Esport Conference (CEC) in Atlantic City. The event takes place on 18 and 19 October 2022 and will be an opportunity for attendees to take a deep dive into the new gaming revolution, covering all areas of esports and video gaming entertainment for the casino, colleges and cinema industries.

Raven Sun Creative’s principal and chief creative officer, Louis Alfieri, will be a panellist for a session on Tuesday 18 October at 3 pm, alongside Daniel Cossi, Allie Young, Anthony Gaud and Eric Weiss.

Esports event expands

The CEC, which has been held in Las Vegas for the last seven years, has worked with the Esports Innovation Center (EIS) and Stockton University in Atlantic City, New Jersey to organise this inaugural CEC/EIC Northeast Summit. The event’s agenda features speakers and attendees from the esports, casino, college, and cinema worlds and will include a keynote address by Tim Sullivan, CEO of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority

Alfieri will be speaking as part of a panel discussion entitled Esports Events and Competitive Esports Wagering. These are two very different concepts that are often confused. Topics will include the differences between these concepts, how casinos can monetise them, and the regulatory concerns. The panel will evaluate where the industry is right now, as well as exploring what the regulatory landscape looks like, and how new innovations, such as the metaverse, will shape its future.

Alfieri often speaks at key industry events around the world. This year, he has addressed the topic of the Metaverse and its potential for the attractions industry at both SXSW and TEA SATE in Europe.

Earlier this year, as Raven Sun Creative celebrated its 10th anniversary, Alfieri shared the critical importance of definitively answering the “why” of your business.
