The company’s principal and chief creative officer will take part in panel exploring the metaverse

Raven Sun Creative, the transformational experience firm, has announced that its principal and chief creative officer, Louis Alfieri, will be moderating a panel at South by Southwest 2022 (SXSW), which takes place in Austin, Texas, from 11 – 20 March. The panel is entitled: Metaverse: How Can We Keep the Human Experience at the Core of This World, and is scheduled for 14 March from 1.30 – 2.15 pm.

Alfieri will be moderating for a panel of expert speakers as they delve into the topic, including Samuel Tétreault, co-founder and artistic director of Les 7 Doigts de la main, Caroline Vanderoost, account director at CINCO, Thibault Duverneix, président of Gentilhomme, and Philip Ranger, founder and CEO, musical (TBC).

Exploring the metaverse at SXSW

SXSW is an annual conference and series of film, interactive media, and music festivals. The conference explores trends and innovations in sectors such as interactive media, music, and live entertainment.

The panel, Metaverse: How Can We Keep the Human Experience at the Core of This World, will look at the ever-evolving technology of virtual and augmented reality in the entertainment industry. It aims to question how we can continue to centre the human experience at the core of this advanced medium of the metaverse, which often deals heavily with technology.

Earlier this year, Alfieri led a virtual masterclass at Milan’s International University of Languages and Media for the second year running, delivering part of a course on theme park management. He often speaks at leading global industry events, including MAPIC, the GSCA Conference, the Casino Esports Conference and many more. He is a frequent contributor to blooloop where he writes in-depth explorations of topics such as trends in LBE.

Last year, Raven Sun Creative launched its new website which features case studies and industry insights, showcasing the company’s innovative approach to the guest experience.
