MAPIC’s “Meet the Leisure Operators” takes place online on 13 October

Raven Sun Creative, the transformational experience firm, has announced that its principal and chief creative officer, Louis Alfieri, will be taking part in MAPIC’s Premium Networking Event Meet the Leisure Operators, which takes place online on Wednesday 13 October 2021 from 3 – 4 pm (GMT+2).

The session, which has limited spots and is only open to MAPIC Full Access Pass / MAPIC Digital Pass holders only, will be a closed-door event featuring global leisure operators looking for new business opportunities. Attendees will be able to join for an open talk, led by Alfieri and Cynthia Vergon.

Connect with transformative leisure operators

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the leisure operators who are working to transform traditional retail sites into new entertainment destinations.

“Your brand needs to be borderless,” says Alfieri.  “The status quo for location-based entertainment has been upended.  Instead of starting with bringing the audience to you – you must begin by bringing the experience to the audience, and use that as a tool to bring the audience to you.”

Alfieri has a great deal of experience in working with large multidisciplinary teams on the conceptualization, design, and implementation of LBE mixed-use resorts, theme parks, waterparks, museums, cultural destinations and more. He frequently contributes to themed entertainment publications and events, including IAAPA, SATE, MAPIC and the Giant Screen Cinema Association.

Alfieri also serves on the board of advisors for the Cornwall Museum Partnership and the new global LeisurUp show, which launched in 2020.

Earlier this year, Raven Sun Creative announced the launch of its new online experience for clients and industry peers.
