News
Paul Kent Simworx

Simworx, the dynamic media attractions specialist, has announced that it is bringing in Paul Kent to its sales team in the role of Global Business Development Manager. This appointment comes at a busy time for the company, which has a steady stream of projects following its successful navigation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kent is an experienced industry veteran, who joins the company following 20 years with AV specialist Electrosonic. He was also named in the blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencer List 2020.

An experienced attractions professional joins the team

Kent has enjoyed a varied, thirty-year career in the entertainment and attractions industry, with several award-winning and celebrated projects under his belt. He has worked in a range of roles from designer through to site-level management, in corporate communications, retail environments, museums, science centres, theme parks, live shows and more.

His passion for the industry is clear, as he has also previously served as Europe and Middle East Chairman of the Themed Entertainment Association.

“I’m thrilled to begin the next chapter of my career with Simworx, they have a vast product range that I’m looking forward to getting acquainted with,” says Kent, on his appointment with the company. “Simworx is a company I have a lot of admiration for and I’m looking forward to showing everyone what they have to offer.”

Kent will join the team on the road as they attend both the Saudi Entertainment & Amusement (SEA) Show in Riyadh (Booth #1D69) and IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona (Booth #2-664).

Earlier this year, Simworx also announced that it has worked on a new attraction at the popular Hunderfossen Familiepark for summer 2021. The ride, Reodor Felgen’s Hyperakselerator, features the characters of Norwegian author and illustrator Kjell Aukrust, and includes a sixteen-meter-wide curved 3D projection screen and four 8-seat Simworx Stargazers.
