Smart Monkeys, Inc., the show control specialist, has announced a new collaboration with global technology firm disguise.
The collaboration will integrate Smart Monkeys, Inc.’s ISAAC AV monitoring and management system with disguise’s market-leading visual experience platform. Together, the two platforms will offer an end-to-end workflow to control integrated AV systems, and will facilitate the next-generation of immersive location-based experiences.
AV management & monitoring
ISAAC is a comprehensive platform designed to transform how AV systems are installed, monitored, and managed. It enables users to monitor and manage all aspects of an AV system, from lighting and audio to video projections and displays. This is accessed using a single onsite portal which does not require an internet connection. ISAAC can also be used to remotely control, distribute, and schedule content playback.
By combining ISAAC with disguise’s Designer software, users of all levels of technical ability will be able to remotely monitor and operate the disguise platform alongside their larger AV system. This will eliminate the need for continuous on-site monitoring. Clients can also look forward to a streamlined and unified experience when running fixed installations.
Key features of the upcoming integration include:
- Users with little to no Designer experience can manage a sophisticated, integrated system driven by disguise.
- Playlist playback scheduling allows for total flexibility when displaying video from disguise on specific screens and surfaces.
- Reduced scheduled downtime as the solution will monitor the hardware status and project information of disguise as well as the larger AV system from ISAAC.
- Customisable notifications and alerts for variances in system behaviour for analytics and troubleshooting.

Smart Monkeys, Inc. recently announced a strategic product distribution agreement with specialist AV distributor Omnio. This makes Omnio the sole distributor of Smart Monkeys, Inc.’s ISAAC product line in Italy.
