Organisations can benefit from combining the two products for creating compelling experiences

Smart Monkeys, Inc., the show control specialist, has teamed up with PIXILAB Technologies AB, the Swedish software developer for experiences, to create an integration between ISAAC, Smart Monkeys’ AV management platform, and PIXILAB’s Block software.

The integration with the one-stop-shop system will assist shared clients to increase their efficiency and benefit directly from the two products operating together.

Streamlined tools

Stephan Villet, Smart Monkeys co-founder says: “This partnership with PIXILAB emphasises the importance of offering streamlined tools that give each of our clients the ability to work through one platform to streamline efforts. We are thrilled to join forces and to offer a combination that will prove greatly beneficial for our users.”

Used in the production of media experiences for museums, cultural centres and galleries, PIXILAB Blocks is suitable for a wide range of exhibitions and presentations. The system comprises a distinctive mix of features including content and display management, control system capabilities, interactive presentations, and mobile guide functions.

PIXILAB CTO and co-founder Mike Fahl says: “Hosting PIXILAB Blocks inside the ISAAC server platform has many management, monitoring and security advantages. Especially when combining PIXILAB Blocks with other systems inside the same virtualised environment. ISAAC can then provide a unified entry point and authorization for end-users of such combined systems.”

Upgrades and integrations

In terms of standard networking and web technologies, both Blocks and ISAAC have proven to be highly compatible, with the opportunity to combine presenting a robust and flexible centralised solution for multi-sensory experiences.

The news follows the recent announcement that Smart Monkeys has also partnered with Pharos Architectural Controls Limited, a manufacturer of dynamic lighting control solutions.

Earlier this year, Smart Monkeys introduced ISAAC Workspace 2.0, encompassing a contemporary design and enhanced functionality.
