Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has announced that its mixed reality playground product, ValoArena, will make its debut at a leading Middle Eastern industry trade show.
The MENA region is already familiar with Valo Motion’s current product line, which includes its ValoClimb and ValoJump attractions, however the upcoming Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure Expo (DEAL) will mark the first time the region has the chance to test-drive and order Valo Motion’s award-winning unattended multiplayer arena at the event.
“Valo Motion is excited to introduce ValoArena in such an important region,” said Valo Motion CEO and founder Raine Kajastila. “We are happy to have the opportunity to entertain people with ValoArena’s games that are active and joyful.”
Combining entertainment and exercise
In the Middle East and North Africa, Valo Motion has already found success with parks and venues installing its active mixed reality ValoClimb attraction or their trampoline-enhancing solution ValoJump.
“Valo Motion is honoured that guests visiting amusement and activity locations in the UAE, Kuwait, and Egypt are being entertained and challenged by ValoClimb and ValoJump,” adds Kajastila.
“Saudi Arabia is leading and innovating in the convergence of retail and entertainment and ValoArena presents a perfect opportunity to expand our vision of fun, interactive experiences that encourage physical movement and exercise there and throughout the larger region.”
The intuitive gameplay of ValoArena allows for immersive and physically demanding entertainment without the need for employee supervision, wires, or wearables.
Guests aged four and above can enter ValoArena’s 64 square metre stage and select from various games to compete in a simultaneous physical and virtual environment with up to six other players. Spectators can also join in by watching the real-world action and virtual fun on a large monitor aimed towards the crowd.
Valo Motion will be at Warehouse of Games’ Booth #C53 in Hall #3 at DEAL, taking place at Dubai World Trade Center from 14-16 March 2023. Tickets can be reserved online.
The firm recently opened ValoHalli, an interactive arcade at its Helsinki premises, which allows visitors to play on all three of Valo Motion’s mixed-reality gaming platforms.
