Christine Wacker is vice president of experiences, events and live entertainment (LBE) for Discovery Communications. In this role, she oversees licensing opportunities in the location-based entertainment (LBE) sector.
Wacker’s role involves seeking innovative new ways to reach new customers through advanced media and new platforms, covering Discovery cruise ships, indoor attractions, adventure parks and destination products. She has oversight of many of Discovery’s direct-to-consumer businesses such as retail stores, e-commerce, media sales, food and beverage, and most recently LBE.
Since the publication of this list in 2019, Wacker left Discovery in 2020. She now works as director of business development experiences (LBE) for Netflix.
