Christine Wacker is Director of Commerce Partnerships and Brand Management for Discovery Communications. In this role she oversees licensing opportunities in the location based entertainment (LBE) sector.
Wacker’s role involves seeking innovative new ways to reach new customers through advanced media and new platforms, covering Discovery cruise ships, indoor attractions, adventure parks and destination products.
An eight year veteran in the Consumer Products Group, she has oversight of many of Discovery’s direct to consumer business such as retail stores, e-commerce, media sales, food and beverage, and most recently location based entertainment. Christine received her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Salisbury University and holds an MBA from University of Maryland.
