John Wood is one of the original founders of Sally Dark Rides. For more than 43 years, Wood has led the way for the company to design, manage and create memorable experiences for attractions across the globe. Sally’s interactive dark rides include Justice League: Battle For Metropolis and Sesame Street: Street Mission. Over the years, Sally Dark Rides has expanded its design and development capabilities to include a variety of special effects, scenic techniques and show action equipment for its attractions.
Wood has always been an active participant in the attractions industry. He has twice served as a director of International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and was inducted into the IAAPA Hall of Fame in 2013. He is also a member of the international board of directors of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).
