As of 2018, Luke Riley has spent more than 15 years working on the ground across Asia, developing a deep cultural, commercial, and institutional understanding of tourism, leisure, and experience-led destination development across diverse markets in the region.
His early career in design, development, and construction brought him into close collaboration with global media and destination development group Village Roadshow, where he developed a strong foundation in large-scale destination delivery, multi-stakeholder coordination, and cross-border project execution.
He has since progressed into senior commercial and leadership roles spanning strategy, partnerships, capital alignment, and regional expansion across Asia-Pacific.
Riley’s experience across Asia has supported the international growth and localisation of major entertainment and experience platforms within mixed-use, resort, and master-planned developments, particularly in policy-influenced and capital-intensive environments.
His work focuses on aligning brand, investment, government priorities, and long-term operating models to deliver sustainable value across Asia’s most dynamic consumer and leisure markets.
