Taiwan-based ride-systems expert, Brogent Technologies, is celebrating the opening of FLYOVER CHINA in Shijingshan Amusement Park, Beijing.
FLYOVER CHINA marks the company’s first standalone i-Ride attraction in China.
Located in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, Shijingshan Amusement Park is one of the capital’s oldest amusement parks and is easily accessible by Subway.
The new attraction takes guests on an 11-minute, immersive flight across the country’s dramatic landscapes and iconic landmarks.
Guests board one of seven gondolas and sit up to 12 metres high with their feet dangling to enhance the feeling of weightlessness. In front of them is a huge, hemispherical dome screen measuring 20 metres in diameter.
According to Brogent, FLYOVER CHINA is the first i‐Ride theatre to feature a video system with multiple laser projectors. The company delivered the ride system, the dome screen and the AV system as a turnkey solution.
Sister company, Brogent Global, delivered the concept for the pre‐show area and movie production.
Thirty FLYOVER CHINA experiences planned across China
Brogent partnered with Fly Over The World Cultural Development Co., Ltd to bring the first FLYOVER CHINA experience to Beijing.
At the opening ceremony, Fly Over The World CEO, Wu Zheng, told guests that he had learned about the i‐Ride during a visit to Vancouver. He added that this new attraction will be the first of many. The company is planning to roll out 30 theatres in the next five years, in Xinjiang, Xizang and other locations around China.
