Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, will be opening a UK office in 2021. This means that the company, whose AI-driven cloud platform is in use at over 100 locations across Europe, will have a base where it can engage with UK clients.
This move will help UK visitor attractions access the tools that they need to fully embrace new technologies, allowing them to enhance the visitor experience and transform their business. After its UK launch later this year, the company will be ready to deliver its disruptive AI-powered solution across the country.
Optimising business processes
Since its inception in 2017, the company has fast become known for its simple, seamless platform, which enables attractions to manage marketing, sales and service strategies all in the same place. The Convious platform offers crowd control tools, dynamic pricing, and real-time insights. In a difficult time for the industry, when COVID has presented extra challenges, these functions have proved to be more necessary than ever before.
The pandemic led to a 66% drop in visitor numbers to top attractions in the UK, so operators have had to adapt, optimising their processes in order to survive. This is where Convious, which helped to sell over 8 million tickets through partner channels over the last 12 months, can prove its worth.
Continuing to support the industry
“The past year has been unusually challenging for so many businesses, but those that have embraced digital transformation and direct-to-consumer (D2C) models have generally fared best,” says Camiel Kraan, CEO at Convious.
“Convious is proud to have played a part in fostering this business resilience through our innovative AI-powered solutions. We will continue to support the industry in any way we can and look forward to developing a closer relationship with our UK customers following the launch of our new office.”
Attendees at IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona this week will be able to meet the team, as they announce new developments from booth #2-270. Later this year, UK customers can also explore the company’s digital offerings in-person at the Family Attraction Expo at the NEC in Birmingham, from 10 – 11 November.
This summer, Convious announced the launch of its Mobile Food Ordering technology, which allows guests to order food and beverage options directly from their own mobile device and avoid queues.
