Disney’s parks in the US, Hong Kong and Paris have unveiled this year’s Christmas events and experiences, which include nighttime spectaculars, fireworks, holiday overlays and festive F&B.
Walt Disney World Resort
‘Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’, a separately ticketed event, will return to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in 2022, available on 24 select nights from 8 November through 22 December.
Highlights include shows such as ‘Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration’ and ‘A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas’, as well as ‘Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks’, and ‘Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade’.
Attractions at Magic Kingdom to get a holiday overlay include Jungle Cruise (Jingle Cruise), as well as Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway.
Yuletide experiences will be taking place across the resort from 11 November. There will be festive F&B, twinkling trees, glittering ornaments, and plenty of tinsel and wreaths.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will offer a ‘Merry Menagerie’ of winter animals, while Epcot will celebrate the return of the ‘Candlelight Processional’.
‘For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration’ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature a festive finale with Olaf.
Disneyland Resort
Disneyland Resort is celebrating Christmas with the return of its nighttime holiday shows ‘Believe… In Holiday Magic’ and ‘World of Color – Season of Light’.
Also returning this year is the giant gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Disney characters will be dressed in their finest festive attire, and there will be seasonal decor and F&B.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
‘A Disney Christmas’ is beginning at Hong Kong Disneyland in November 2022. Offerings include the ‘Duffy & Friends Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Santa Goofy’s Magical Snowfall’.
Processionals will include ‘A Holiday Gift of Cheer with Duffy and Friends’ and ‘Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball’. As the sun sets, sparkling lights will illuminate Hong Kong Disneyland while snow falls from the sky.
Disneyland Paris
In France, ‘Disney Enchanted Christmas’ is running from 12 November until 8 January 2023. Disneyland Paris will feature twinkling lights and fairytale decorations, and visitors will enjoy ‘Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade’ during the day and in the evening.
Guests will join Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy for the ‘Let’s Sing Christmas!’ show, and seasonal merchandise and F&B will be available across the parks and hotels.
