Endurescreens, a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of world-class projection screens, has collaborated with Kraftwerk Living Technologies (KLT), a leading-edge AV systems integrator, to bring a new flying theatre experience to Katmandu Park | Punta Cana.

The brand new theme park, which officially opened to the public in March 2023, is part of Falcon’s Resort, a partnership between Melia Hotel Group and Falcon’s Beyond Global, a fully integrated development enterprise for IP-driven parks, resorts, media and merchandise.

A memorable flying theatre experience for guests at Katmandu Park

One of the highlights of Katmandu Park is Voyage of the Fathom Wanderer, a flying theatre attraction from Falcon’s partner Kraftwerk Living Technologies, in cooperation with Endurescreens. This takes guests on a thrilling journey and the film, projected onto a 14-metre diameter spherical screen from Endurescreens, makes the experience truly unforgettable.

Endurescreens is a Budapest-based company that specialises in complex perforated aluminium screens. The firm is a global supplier and partner of many of the best system integrators in this industry. It has a reputation as an innovative, high-quality screen supplier for entertainment attractions, planetariums, architectural applications, museums, science centres, immersive art experiences and more.

The new Voyage of the Fathom Wanderer flying theatre attraction in Kathmandu Park adds an adventurous experience for guests at the new park.

Earlier this year, Endurescreens announced that its second-generation projection screens are being used in the HEXaFLITEmini Mini Flying Theater from Simtec Systems, a leader in motion-based simulators and dark rides. This new mini-flying theatre is able to provide more flexibility and creativity for attraction developers who are working with limited space.

The company also recently released its next-generation screen surface, following months of research and development. The breakthrough new technology will be applied to both of the firm’s signature products, Pro+ and Micro Pro.
