News
Falcon's Creative Philippines

New space in Metro Manila is set to open in early 2023

Falcon’s Beyond Global, a fully integrated development enterprise for IP-driven parks, resorts, media and merchandise, will be expanding internationally next year, with a new office set to open in Metro Manila in early 2023.

The new Falcon’s Creative Philippines, Inc. branch will employ around 20 new associates within the next quarter. This will include illustrators, architectural designers, modellers, and artists, as well as media and interactive gaming designers, who will be working on world-class projects in the themed entertainment space.

Supporting local talent in the Philippines

“As someone of Filipino descent, it has been a lifelong dream of mine, as well as my father, to open a Falcon’s office in the Philippines and support its vast array of local talent,” says Cecil D. Magpuri, CEO of Falcon’s Beyond. “We are excited to expand our company’s footprint globally and build a team of passionate storytellers and creatives to support our portfolio of high-profile international entertainment projects.”

Earlier this year, Falcon’s Beyond also announced plans to become a publicly listed company on Nasdaq through a definitive merger agreement with FAST Acquisition Corp. II (“FAST II”) (NYSE: FZT), a special purpose acquisition company founded by Doug Jacob and headed by Sandy Beall. Following this move, the new combined company will be named “Falcon’s Beyond Global, Inc.” and is expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “FBYD.”

In August 2022, Falcon’s Beyond Global confirmed plans for a new global leisure entertainment resort brand in a collaboration with one of the world’s leading hotel organisations, Meliá Hotels International. Falcon’s Resorts by Meliá will introduce new leisure and entertainment-based resorts, featured within world-class entertainment destinations in prime leisure markets around the world.
