Construction begins Fantawild Boonie Bears town

Fantawild Holdings held a ceremony to mark the construction of a new Boonie Bears themed town at Ningobo Fantawild Tourist Resort.

Fantawild Holdings, a leading one-stop solution provider in the theme park industry, recently announced that construction is now underway for the new Boonie Bears themed town. This was marked by a special event in Ningbo, held on 30 November 2020 and attended by Liu Daoqiang, President of Fantawild Holdings Inc., and Li Jun, Propaganda Minister and member of the municipal party committee.

The new attraction will celebrate Fantawild’s popular Boonie Bears animated IP, and will be part of an integrated tourist destination with food and drink, accommodation, entertainment, retail and education. Guests will be able to enjoy a Boonie Bears-themed adventure world, as well as an education camp, food plaza and a Boonie Bears hotel.

Fun with Boonie Bears and more

When the full Ningbo Fantawild Tourist Resort project is complete, it will be home to three other theme parks alongside the Boonie Bears town, which Fantawild refers to as the Beautiful China Trilogy.

Fantawild Oriental Heritage Park was the first to open at the resort, in 2016, and has since entertained over 16 million guests. This will be followed by Fantawild Glorious Orient, which is ready to open in 2021 and will be home to cutting-edge technology. The third park, Tomorrow’s China, is still being planned.

The Ningbo Fantawild Tourist Resort is designed to boost the economic, political, cultural, social, and ecological progress of Ningbo while providing opportunities for families to enjoy fun and memorable experiences together. The company aims to turn the resort into a  model project for the city.

Fantawild Holdings is also investing in three new theme parks in Shaoxing and another new theme park in the Wudang Mountains. Meanwhile, it has started construction on Yingtan Fantawild Park, also known as the Chinese Historical and Cultural Heritage Resort, in Yingtan, Jiangxi, and a new animation theme park, known as Fantawild Shangqiu Animation Theme Park, in Shangqiu, China.
