Imagine Leisure to Create Visitor Destination at TT Circuit Assen.

Imagine Leisure, leading leisure consultants, have announced a project to establish a new visitor destination at TT Circuit Assen. The project aims to attract visitors to the race circuit all year round, with redeveloped facilities to reach a wide audience.

TT Circuit Assen hosts international motorsports events such as the World Superbike and the Motocross of Nations. The historic track is located on the outskirts of the city of Assen, in the north of Holland. It has the capacity to welcome a large number of visitors for these events and has a good infrastructure to handle many people. It has a capacity of 110,000 spectators, including 60,000 seats.

The track is a popular venue, often referred to as “The Cathedral” by motorsport fans. Despite this, visitors tend to come for one-off events rather than viewing it as a destination in its own right. This new project hopes to help TT Circuit Assen to attract people throughout the year and make it a real visitor magnet.

Creating year-round appeal

The main aim of this redevelopment plan is to create an interesting and engaging visitor destination. TT Circuit Assen wants people to visit all year round and for longer periods of time, and hopes to become a key tourist attraction in the region.

Developing this location into a year-round attraction is a challenge, but Imagine Leisure is confident that it can achieve this ambition. The project will create a multi-function visitor hub that can be used by a variety of different audiences. It will bring together various elements of the race circuit to ensure synergy. Imagine Leisure believes that this destination can be transformed into an exciting visitor attraction, and draw a larger audience to this part of the country.

Imagine Leisure is also collaborating on a project to attract tourists to the Dutch city of Vaals. The company will reach audiences by creating a new attraction in the city.
