Imaginize, a full-service experience design studio worked alongside Merlin Magic Making to deliver the full design and creative vision for the new World of Jumanji land at Chessington World of Adventures.

The team has experience in working across a number of different industries from visitor attractions and theme parks to festivals and events – and brings a versatile range of creative disciplines to each project.
Immersing guests in the world of Jumanji
World of Jumanji, the new land at Chessington World of Adventures, opened to the public on 15 May. Merlin Magic Making and partners were set the challenge to bring this exciting new land to life, which includes a themed bazaar with interactive Jumanji-themed games and shops as well as two flat rides themed to scenes from the Jumanji films and the world’s only Jumanji-themed roller coaster!
To help make the vision a reality, Merlin Magic Making chose to work with Imaginize who offered a wide range of design services for the project – from concept art to 3D design and graphic artworking.
“We worked with the talented artists at Imaginize to support us here at Merlin Magic Making in the visualisation of the land,” says John Burton, Merlin Magic Making creative lead. “Imaginize were reactive and detailed, working through the Merlin Magic Making’s creative directive. From storyboarding the guest journey to supporting the final delivery of marketing material and graphics packages, Imaginize has helped us bring the world to life and bring the fun for our guests!”
