Leisure Expert Group new website

Leisure Expert Group, a leading experience design company, has launched a new website, reflecting a recent company redesign.

Leisure Expert Group is pleased to present its new website, following its recent company restyling which reflects the diversity within the company and its clients. The Amsterdam-based Leisure Expert Group has been broadening its client base in recent years, with many more projects outside the theme and amusement park sector.

For instance, it began collaborating with Insomniac Events on the EDC festival in 2014 and has also designed the ‘This is Holland’ tourist attraction as a brand experience and created a dinner show restaurant onboard the AIDAnova cruise ship.

Reflecting a diverse industry

“As the leisure industry is such an amazing and diverse industry, we wanted to create a new brand and website to reflect our experience design expertise in the various facilities and venues in leisure”, says Chief Creative Officer (CEO) Marjolein van de Stolpe.

“We had already started this rebranding before the corona crisis and now that the world is upside down, it became ever more apparent that leisure is important to people’s wellbeing. We want to visit the cinema, a museum, a theme park, a resort, a bar, a restaurant, any leisure facility to escape from this unfortunate situation that the world is in.

“Leisure Expert Group was already designing many of these experiences in leisure and we are proud that our brand and website now also reflect that.”

The company has completed several successful projects this year, including the new test-lab exhibition at Universe Science Park in Denmark as well as work on the phase 4 development of Djurs Sommerland’s Wild Asia themed area and updated entrance. Leisure Expert Group also worked with Walibi Holland, redesigning its Speedzone attraction.

It is also continuing work on other projects, despite the disruption caused by the global pandemic. For instance, the new Tornado Springs area at Paultons Park, which will now open in 2021 and the Dinosaurland area at Djurs Sommerland, set for a 2022 opening.

Leisure Expert Group also recently announced the opening of Sonar Station, a redesign of the Terra Explorer at Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen.
